We need a council that focuses on the basics.

I’m committed to:

Maintaining public safety.

Residents value the excellent service Elk Grove Police Department provides our city.  I will ensure the police are provided the equipment, training and support they require to continue to improve the standard of excellence they provide to each and every Elk Grove resident and business.  As I have done for the last three years, I will continue to lead the way in connecting at-risk youth with first responders to build common ground and understanding.

Reducing traffic by bringing more jobs and entertainment to Elk Grove.

COVID-19 has forever changed the future of work and I will champion for the State of California to embrace work-from-home policies to keep residents out of their cars, off of the road and close to home so we can reduce congestion, improve our climate and give our Elk Grove residents a higher quality of life.  I will continue to refine our permitting process to give businesses more certainty on time and cost.  I will work with the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce to expand, attract and retain businesses here at home.

Making sure our parks are clean, drug free, with some much-needed shade.

In partnership with the Cosumnes Community Services District, I’ll champion cooperation and coordination to keep our public spaces safe, clean and comfortable.

Balancing the city budget with no new taxes.

I’ll champion improved processes and find cost-reduction opportunities in the City of Elk Grove.  I’m going to work to increase the tax base, not increase the tax rate.
